Golden Jubilee Trust

The Golden Jubilee Trust funds the donation of time and skills, rather than money. It gives our Partners the chance to be seconded to their chosen UK Registered charity for up to six months, either full or part time. Partners can get involved in any project they choose – from food banks to animal rescue centres – provided it has a clearly defined purpose and gives ongoing benefit.

Our story

Established in 2000 and becoming part of the Foundation during 2025, the Golden Jubilee Trust funds placements in around 50 charities per year, giving a wide range of causes valuable hands-on support.

So far, over 1,200 Partners have participated and have donated more than 500,000 hours of time. By tapping into this extra pool of resources, charities are able to accelerate projects, broaden their reach and have an even bigger impact. For Partners, it’s an opportunity to build transferable skills, while giving back to their communities. After their paid secondment, they can return to their role with no loss of pay or benefits.

Home-Start UK

Case study

In 2022, our Partner, Stephanie took up a placement at Home-Start UK, a charity that support families with young children. While there, Stephanie engaged with over 200 staff and trustees across the charity network, using her knowledge and experience to devise a learning and development strategy that will support the growth of staff, trustees and volunteers well into the future.

Countryside Education Trust

Case study

In 2023, our Partner & People Service Specialist, Elisa, completed her secondment with the Countryside Education Trust in the New Forest National Park. The charity mission is to connect people with the countryside, teaching children of all ages to care and respect animals and the environment. While there, Elisa shared her skills and experience, helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to experience nature in a new way, enabling them to relax, de-stress, and benefit from the shared knowledge and diverse expertise of the staff.
